About the Summit P.B.A.

Summit P.B.A. Local # 55 was incorporated in 1924 as an affiliate of the New Jersey State Policeman’s Benevolent Association, to aid and protect the members of the Summit Police Department. We are celebrating many years of assisting our members in negotiations and times of need.

We also have tremendous involvement with the youth of the community through events such as an annual fishing party, Easter egg hunt, bike rodeo, Halloween parade and the Torch Run for the Special Olympics. P.B.A members volunteer their time and hard work in support of these and other programs.

The support of the community for the Summit P.B.A assures the continuation of our role as an organization dedicated to the welfare and advancement of Summit Police Officers, residents and businesses.
