Summit PBA Local 55 - Summit, NJ

Summit P.B.A. Local # 55 was incorporated in 1924 as an affiliate of the New Jersey State Policeman’s Benevolent
Association, to aid and protect the members of the Summit Police Department.

A community focused organization, we also have tremendous involvement with the citizens of Summit, both on our own
and in concert with other community groups, such as the Summit PAL and FMBA. Just some community events that we
have a hand in are the annual PAL Fishing Derby, Easter Egg Hunt, Bike Rodeo, Halloween Parade, Torch Run, Plane
Pull and Polar Bear Plunge.

The support of the community for the Summit P.B.A assures the continuation of our role as an organization dedicated to
the welfare and advancement of Summit Police Officers, allowing them to dutifully serve the residents and merchants of
our fine city.
